Greater Pottsville Area Sewer Authority Rate Adjustment Effective January 1, 2027

Effective January 1, 2027, the Greater Pottsville Area Sewer Authority (GPASA) will implement a rate adjustment.

GPASA has not increased its sewer rates since 2010. This adjustment is necessary to help offset rising operating costs, maintain and improve the sewer system infrastructure, and continue providing reliable service to our customers.

The new rates are as follows:

• Residential Customers: An increase of $3.00 per month ($9.00 per quarter).
• Commercial Customers: Sewer charges will increase from 140% to 147% of the monthly water bill.
